This sweet kitty cat brooch or pin was made by Nancy & Rise Ltd., NY, c. 1980s. The setting is gold plated and adorned in pave crystal rhinestones. It is marked "NR" on the back. This darling pin measures 1 1/2" X 7/8" and is in excellent condition.
Nancy & Rise Ltd., was a New York based company owned by husband and wife, Nancy Schelsinger and Rise Egert. The company was known to create high end costume jewelry in the 80s. In 1997 the company was sold to Ezra Sheena and Frank Jedda of Frank Stella. |
