Here is a fine example of gold Victorian Etruscan Revival jewelry. This ornate Victorian gold bangle bracelet is decorated with gold beads and twisted wire. It is marked "15" for 15k gold (the Victorian gold standard). It has it's original aged patina. This gorgeous bracelet latches perfectly and the safety chain is intact. The ornately decorate front measures 1/4" wide and the back approximately 3/16". This bracelet is oval shaped and inside circumference measures approximately 6 1/2"

One can only imagine the skill required to craft such a creation. Etruscan jewelry originated in Italy from 500BC to 300BC and was crafted by ancient gold workers. A mid-Victorian jewelry style known as the Etruscan Revival came to exist as others became entranced with this style and wished to recreate it's timeless beauty.
