Here is an unusual Asian themed, Victorian hand-carved ox bone bead and pendant necklace, circa late 1800's. This necklace has a drop of about 16" from top to bottom of pendant. The pendant measures 2" x 1 1/8". There are 13 small round beads, 1 tube bead, 2 elongated carved beads and 1 elaborately carved pendant. The pendant and elongated carved beads are in excellent condition whereas the tube and some of the round beads have age related pitting and small cracks. This beautiful necklace is safe to wear as the woven black cord is strong and intact.
