Here is an enchanting Foster & Bailey Victorian pressed glass Chatelaine perfume bottle with Sterling lid and glass stopper. The top is marked "F & B - Sterling", (Foster & Bailey, 1878 - 1898, Providence, Rhode Island). The sterling top has an embossed floral design. The lid closes securely but has a small ding at the very top. The body is tapered with a vertical rib and star pattern. It measures 4" tall and is 1" at the widest point. Under magnification, I see only a few small nibbles in the glass. Otherwise this pretty Victorian scent bottle is in wonderful condition. |
