Here is a darling 1970s Yellow Waistcoat Bagpiper Golly Badge or Gollywog. This pin was issued by Robertson's as an official reproduction of the original 1940's pin. It is marked and made by
"R.E.V.Gomm Frederick St B'ham". It measures 1 1/8" tall and is in excellent condition with the original pin fitting.
In the 1920s Robertson's, a UK based preserve manufacturer began issuing badges or brooches as premiums with their jam. These tokens or pins carried the Golly image and continued to do so until 2002. These badges continue to be highly collectible.
