Here is a charming pair of vintage Crown Trifari, apple shaped, clip earrings, c. 1950. The open gold-tone setting is domed with three sparkling rows of rhinestone baguettes. They are signed Trifari with the crown over the "T" and are also marked "Pat. Pend". The actual patent was registered on September 19, 1950 as Patent No. 160201 by designer, Alfred Philippe. This lovely pair of earrings are in excellent condition and each measure approximately 1 1/4" x 3/4". |
