This multi-stone vintage bracelet is simply a work of art. Sapphire blue, ruby red, amethyst and olivine crystals are set with tiny faux pearl, coral and turquoise beads. They are hand set in gold-tone embossed mosaic style links.
Near the clasp the piece bears an inventory number of "0870". It measures 7 1/4" x 3/4" and is in top condition, complete with original safety chain.
In researching this piece I found that there were more than a few makers who produced this design and would have numbered their jewelry in this fashion. I found that Boucher, D'Orlan and British maker Sphynx have all produced similar to identical pieces of this design. Attribution may be difficult but the quality and beauty of this bracelet easy to see. |
