Here is a beautiful vintage Hector Aguilar Coro Mexico Sterling silver bird brooch. This Brooch is in excellent condition and is signed on the back, "Sterling CORO Mexico". It measures 2" x 1 1/2".
During the second world war the shortage of metals prompted Coro to contract with Taxco silversmith, Hector Aguilar. He designed and produced jewelry that bore the Coro mark, for import to the US. Due limited production (1943-1950) these Mexico Aguilar Sterling Coro pieces are highly collected. |
