This elegant "office chic" vintage Napier chain necklace has heavy gleaming silver-tone double links. The largest centre link is 2" wide! Total length is 19" (without clasp). The fold-over clasp is marked "Napier Pat. Pend." while the back of the centre link is marked Napier with the copyright symbol. Jewelry manufacturers used patents to protect their designs up until 1956 when copyrights became more popular. I would date this piece to the late 50s or early 60s since it has both type of marks. Condition is excellent with no wear or damage. |
