Description

Here is an exceptionally beautiful Sherman color combination. The center spray of this vintage signed Sherman brooch is made up of lavender, blue and yellow aurora borealis navettes with the two outside rows being made up of unique color changing Alexandrite Rhinestones. The larger chatons are also Alexandrite.

Alexandrite stones change from pale ice lavender to blue when viewed under different light sources.

This pin measures approximately 1 1/2" wide by 2 1/4" long and is in very good condition with only a little wear to the borealis stones noted, when viewed with an eye loupe. There are a few tiny spots on the back where there is loss to the rhodium plating. Again difficult to notice without the loupe.

Stones are all tightly set and secure. Pin is straight and clasp works perfectly. It has the older oval plate and the signature is clear.
